Paula Williams was the CEO of the Orchard Group, a major conservative Christian church planting organization, as well as a megachurch preaching pastor, magazine editor and seminary instructor. Within a very short time of coming out as transgender, Williams was fired from all of her positions. Having triumphed over institutional rejection, Williams continues her work speaking to large crowds in and outside of the church setting. Inspiring her audiences with a vision of a more inclusive vision of spirituality, and a world that truly honors women and people of all genders, Williams shares her story in the TED talk “I’ve lived as a man and a woman – here’s what I’ve learned.”
